I love Christian fantasy and seeing the truths and lessons I can get out of it. I’ve read the Chronicles of Narnia, the Lord of the Rings, the Dragon Keeper Series (by Donita K. Paul), Auralia’s Colors, the Door Within Trilogy, and Dragons in our Midst. I was wondering if anybody out there knows of any more good Christian fantasy books for older teens. And please don’t write anything mean please, anybody. Thank you!
First, to the person who stated Lord of the Rings is not Christian, you are mistaken. In fact, Tolkien repeatedly identified Christian themes in Lord of the Rings. For example, in a letter, Tolkien made the following statement: “The Lord of the Rings is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work, unconsciously so at first, but consciously in the revision…the religious element is absorbed into the story and symbolism.” Far from making a stupid assumption, Kittycat was actually coming into agreement with the author’s own perspective of his work.
Now, on to the original question. Kittycat, here are some additional Christian fantasy suggestions for you. I will list authors, rather than titles, because many of these writers have multiple books released.

I also blog on Christian fantasy at http://www.sarahsawyer.com/blog and at the beginning of each month post new releases in the genre.
