On January 18th, 2007, Google organized Unbound, an event at the New York Public Library examining how the book business has changed and how it will continue to evolve. Time starts to pass much more quickly between school, work and Jacob, and she’s not miserable anymore.
Jacob wishes Bella a happy Valentine’s Day and gives her a small pink box when she arrives at his place for a homework session. She has totally forgotten, and he jokingly pressures her to be his valentine! They make sarcastic remarks, and Bella feels the need to make sure the boundaries are quite clear. The two discuss plans, Bella says she can’t make it on Friday, but after seeing Jacob’s disappointment, she quickly adds that he should come along to the movie! He’s pretty excited that she wants him to hang with her friends, and notes that Quil will be happy to meet her senior friends …
