I’ll be more than …
I’ll be more than happy to watch, I love of all of his guest sensei, but I guess I will have an even better time watching you because you were the one that told me about Victor in the first place and now I have made a lot of friends too by watching him and I appreciate that a lot!

well heres the …
well heres the thing. you go to one those and so does everyone else. that means it gets ultra crowded. in japan that means shoulder to shoulder with super sweaty people making it hotter than it already was. just trying to find a decent place to watch the fireworks is not an easy task. Ive gone to 4 of them since i moved here 3 years ago and dont have a wish to go again.

The scary stories …
The scary stories are the ONLY thing you like about summer? C’mon, what about the badass
fireworks displays? I’d like to know if you have or haven’t been to one of those. That’s one of the big treats to see while in Japan (when I get there, of course).

well i still …
well i still wouldnt say i am fluent or on a native level. it takes a long time. check out gimmeabreakman. he has lived here 17 years and it took him 6 years to become fluent. i have 2 other friends who speak fluently as well and it took them 7-10 years. as for getting started just buy books and study your head off. also if you can practice with a fluent friend that helps heaps more than any book.

The very unusual …
The very unusual author, Lafcadio Hearn, is famous for gathering and writing down the verbal
history of the horror stories of Japan during the 1890’s. “The Wandering Ghost” is the story of his life. Check out the movie “Kwaidan” which shows these horror tales with great skill.

I’m pretty excited …
I’m pretty excited about coming to teach soccer. Because those are two things I love, soccer and Japan. I will most likely start a new channel when I come. I’ll give you a heads up when that happens. I will definitely get a cell phone then cause it sounds like a MUST lol, thanks again.
December 24th, 2009 at 7:11 am
whoa really?! what …
whoa really?! what a unique situation man! you need to start your own youtube channel lol.
i would suggest a cellphone no matter what – they are EXTREMELY indispensable here and you hook up to making friends, and gfs as well(GFs! girlfriends! japanese girls! female companions!!!!). you get my hint? huh? its so subtle!
December 24th, 2009 at 7:11 am
Yeah we are a …
Yeah we are a little slow. I am coming to Japan to help coach a soccer camp. What should I do as far as ways of communication? should I just stick with internet? Or is it worth it to get a phone?
December 24th, 2009 at 7:11 am
computers …
computers definitely work. although not always with hardware out here. i brought a pc from america and it worked fine with wired internet but not with routers or a turntable i bought out here and smaller fader and mixer. cell phones is a definite no. sorry. america is just waaaay too behind.

yeah you would be surprised…sometimes heading to prefecture only a few miles away is almost like entering a whole nother country. i.e. okinawa is barely even considered a part of japan its so different.

I how diverse the …
I how diverse the Japanese are in interests even though the country is so tiny. Sometimes when you think of Japan, you think of all the KAWAII stuff like Hello Kitty, J-Pop girl-groups, etc. But they’re also pretty good in that whole horror aspect.
IDK, it’s just interesting to me.
