What are some good mystery books for a high school student?

I need suggestions on any good mystery books out there! Any help would be great! The only thing is that it has to be a mystery type genre. Thanks!

In the 4-part Dangerous Days series by J. William Turner, books 3 & 4 Outback Heroes and Enemies Within available on Kindle. The mystery behind a car-bombing in paris and the kidnapping of an English girl in the Australian desert in Outback Heroes is solved in Enemies Within.
If you don’t have a Kindle, the whole Dangerous Days series is available as one novel inside a hardcover by mail order.

I’m a 12 year old and its the holidays. I really like mystery books and scary books and i would really want to get into a series of books. Any good mystery/scary or just any good book for a 12 year old?

I need to read a historical and mystery fiction book that isn’t too hard. (Like junior high level-ish…) I would like it if u gave me a link to a summary or review about the book. thanks!

So i’m writing a Paranormal Mystery and wanted to know who the best authors of this genre are so i could read some of their books.

I’d like books that require real wit and thinking like Agatha Christie (not those books that are mostly adventure). Can anyone recommend some great crime/mystery books other than Agatha Christie? I love her books- she has such a clever mind to think of some of those solutions.

Caroline B. Cooney writes great mysteries. I read They Never Came Back about a 15 y.o. named Cathy Ferris, the new girl in school with a past she’s trying to hide.

You should also try books by Lois Duncan. Her mysteries have more of an edge to them, like Don’t Look Behind You and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

I am 14 and I like to read fantasy books and also murder mystery. I am obviously at a teen age reading level. ?

I like to read. Any suggestions on what to read. I am currently reading a murder mystery book call stormbreaker and the author is Anthony Horowitz if that help. Any suggestions on what I might like? Thanks.

Young Bond by Charlie Higson-based on the series by Ian Fleming and is about James Bond whilst he is at school at Eton in the 1930’s when he’s 13-14 years old. Although he’s not a proper spy yet, he always seems to find himself in the middle of a mystery and you can see why he makes such a good spy.
Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
Maximum Ride by James Patterson-Adventure/thriller novel about six kids who are 98% human and 2% bird and how they were designed in a lab to save the world.
Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly-Adult books but incredible action adventure novels. Really fast-pased with lots of extra cultural information that makes it really interesting.

well, theyre always told from the point of view of the detective. maybe it would be interesting to see the point of view of the victim, or even the suspect.
