I’m currently reading The Sookie Stackhouse Novels (the True Blood books) and was looking for something similar. Recommendations don’t necessarily have to involve vampires. I just like mystery/fantasy type books. I’m going to Borders tomorrow to pick up the latest Sookie Stackhouse book and thought I could get something else in addition. Thanks!
I look for those same types of books too. I’m the perfect person to help! Here ya go:

Highly recommend Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. Their books have the same vibe as Charline Harris.
