Now what may help you is to go to the library and borrow a book which will give you help with writing and the business aspects fo writing. I myself borrowed 5 books at my last visit to the library: *Zen In the Art of Writing *Romance Writing *All I know About Writing *Self Editing *Re-writing And they have all thoroughly helped me! :) Now you'll be pleased to know that getting published does not cost a penny-in fact the publisher will pay you! (Around 1 000-5 000 dollars advance!) Unless you choose a vanity press, where they'll make you pay. But perhaps stay away from them and stick to Harper Collins etc. if your having trouble with funds. Once you have written a polished and markettable story make sure to check with the submission guide lines set by publishers as to what type of books they want and how many words etc. All this info can be found online.
