    I feel like there …
I feel like there is something pointing to a higher being, an supernatural essence about things. There are things we can’t explain that seem so incredible and out of our realm. But why is that Jesus? Allah, etc. It could be something totally alien. It is wise to say that we don’t know. It looks stupid to say THIS IS THE WAY IT IS. Jesus is it etc.

  2. rainbowspite222 Says:

    Why didn’t Jesus …
Why didn’t Jesus talk about origins of life. I guess he didn’t think it was that important. Same with sex. Never mentioned a thing about homosexuality, heterosexuality or other.

  3. rainbowspite222 Says:

I like how he sales …
I like how he sales pitches the christian propaganda at the beginning of the video. I’m sure Jesus would approve.

    mmm Free will. Join …
mmm Free will. Join my church or you are damned for all eternity. Oh and by the way, there are three major branches to my religion. They have major branches amongst themselves. So you have to pick not just the right branch but the right one or again you are damned for all eternity. Not going to give you any evidence of which one it is so place your bets, place your bets. Yours a loving god.

So, if you are a believer, you must really expect damnation as a statistically probable outcome.

  5. William00048 Says:

    The physics of the …
The physics of the universe? The physics of the universe says that it can be created from nothing. Simple quantum fluctuations in a vacuum can kick off the big bang. No need for a creator. Physics has the answer for a universe from nothing.

Do believers have the answer for what created god?

    Welcome everyone, …
Welcome everyone, we have Christopher Hitchens…a world renown writer and author and seated on either side of him…several Christian pricks…thanks for coming today!

  7. richwfd Says:

    Strobel does …
Strobel does nothing but make assumptions with no evidence whatsoever. If people like him would just admit that they’re clinging to belief and making suppositions out of emotion/fear, I would have much more respect for their position…………

  8. wowamonn Says:

    Fuck ya! …
ya! Christopher tear them up and shove thier bullshit up there arse.

  9. sadmaniskillingyou Says:

    christianity equals …
    christianity equals retardation
i hope they all get cancer and die
    god aint real
the universe is a computer simulation
    wake up sheeple

  10. trekgeek1 Says:

    Could it be that …
Could it be that the constants of the universe are arbitrary and the universe obeys those constants and that we adapted to that universe? Why do these guys always assume that our particular form of life was the only option? We could have life that works off principles that we don’t yet understand and thus can’t recognize as life. And the first guys definition of information- paintings and software- seem arrogantly human. I don’t think that is a fundamental idea of information.

  11. GetMeThere1 Says:

    Strobel is a BORN …
Strobel is a BORN LIAR. He says when he “investigated christianity” (which HAD to be early 80s at the LATEST–he was a pastor by 87), he investigated the fine tuning argument and the complexity of cells.

But the fine tuning argument was only initially MADE as early as the early 90s, and the complexity of cells as design argument was mostly put out initially by Behe in 96.

I conclude: Strobel can’t HELP HIMSELF by lying about almost EVERYTHING.

    hitchens VS three stupid christians???/

    fuck yea im watching this.
    this is gonna be good.

    get em hitch

  13. wrongwayup Says:

    Oh shit, I just …
Oh shit, I just started watching and the first argument I hear is “I used to be an atheist”, hahah. Yeah right!

  14. AlienAtheist Says:

    Since when is …
Since when is theology science? :-P

  15. GaiusIuliusTaberna Says:

    @mrw21 Those aren’t …
@mrw21 Those aren’t atheists then, they’d be deluded fools with weak minds trying to find a substitute for religion. A real atheist shouldn’t “believe” in anything. They should accept facts as facts that don’t require belief.

As for faith, I have faith in myself, and that’s all anyone should need. If you don’t have that much you’ll always be a sycophant.

  16. darknam Says:

    why….. I would …
why….. I would have believed that if i lived 2,000 years ago. Great argument! FACT!

  17. moiphx2 Says:

    Zeus says otherwise …
Zeus says otherwise. It is a fact that Zeus will strike such as you with cancer of the eyes and lightning bolts for your heresy.

Unless you can prove any of your heathen piffle, in which case, Zeus will send you a muffin basket and free tickets to Wrestlemania.

What gives your claims any more authority than mine?

  18. frederickj3 Says:

    There’s hope for …
There’s hope for you in both evolution and hinduism dear Slugg. You can advance. Perhaps by some random mutation you’ll learn manners or die and reincarnate as something a bit less Slugg-like. Until then, you may be a bit slimey but I like ya. Be blessed.

  19. LordMalice6d9 Says:

    I find it …
I find it interesting how people like you seem to enjoy strawmaning atheists in order to justify your bigotry.
    Not suprising from your ilk.

  20. Slugg329 Says:

    Fuck you and your …
you and your wicked religious non sense!

  21. mrw21 Says:

    I hear a lot of …
I hear a lot of theists claim that “believing” in reason and science is, itself, a form of faith – that in many ways, it is no different than having faith in a god. But when they make the cosmological argument, they put a great deal of faith in science’s conclusion that the universe seemed to have had a beginning.

  22. lkjsadfhkjh Says:

It is a fact that …
It is a fact that Xenu blew up our souls with an H-bomb loaded volcano. It is a fact that Mohammed was a prophet of God. It is a fact that Joseph Smith is too.

Strange how quickly these “facts” turn into “things people only believe because they were brought up believing them” for every other religion, yet you can be so certain that you are not similarly misguided.

  23. lkjsadfhkjh Says:

    Natural selection …
Natural selection is also nothing more than a natural process, it has no more moral authority than other natural processes like, say, tooth decay. I’m quite free to adopt children, give to charity, use contraception, go skydiving, or any of various other things that don’t exactly help spread copies of my genetic code around.

Atheism does not claim any moral authority or guidelines, that’s what philosophy is for. I enjoy being nice to people, and that’s good enough for me.

  24. gudenhead Says:

    Haa, haa- you sir …
Haa, haa- you sir are deluded.

  25. frederickj3 Says:

It is a fact that …
It is a fact that God created the heavens and earth. It is a fact that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. It is a fact that He arose from the dead after paying the price for our sins by vicarious sacrifice. It is a fact that there is a literal heaven and a literal that will last for eternity. It is a fact that only by faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and confession of His Lordship can one be saved from eternal damnation. These are facts and you must choose or be eternally lost.
