A panel (William Lane Craig, Christopher Hitchens, Douglas Wilson, Lee Strobel) discusses if the God of Christianity exists and if it matters. The discourse took place in March, 2009 at the Christian Book Expo.

@mrw12:
Very well said.

Two pop bottles …
Two pop bottles fizzing? That’s one of the most backward arguments I have ever heard. Just because science doesn’t yet understand how our brains produce consciousness, doesn’t mean that “God did it”. We will one day understand it. Then what will his argument be?

God is all powerful …
God is all powerful. The Jews are his chosen people. He let them be murdered by the Nazi’s. He has let them be murdered in Christian and Muslim Pogroms for Generations. As a reward for being his chosen people he promised them a strip of desert at the less fashionable end of the Mediterranean.
Wow, that is how he treats his favourite people? I don’t need a friend like that thanks.

You’re correct. The …
You’re correct. The ontological argument is one of the worst arguments for god in my opinion

Dr Craigs argument …
Dr Craigs argument is shallow at best. He first argues for an objective view(or truth), then speaks of personal experience which by its very definition is subjective. Nevermind the fact even the so called objective view is based on the subjective view based on personal experience, as there is no one to objectively percieve a truth, or reality. His argument does go anywhere but around in itself.
His argument from ‘possibility of existence” is not even worth rebutting. Kindergarden philosophy.

The best thing I’ve …
The best thing I’ve heard Hitchens say about religion is that it is an “ever-expanding tautology.” Every time we learn something that seems to contradict religious teachings/dogma (e.g. evolution), religious people say, “Well, god is more clever than we thought.” Or if someone says, “I tried. I cried out to god and asked him for guidance. Nothing happened.” The religious say, “You need to wait on god.” They have an answer for everything while the truly intelligent say “I don’t know.”

Congratulations on …
Congratulations on that retarded speech. I bet you worked on it all day, only to be flushed down the idiot spam toilet. LOL.

Observer: You’re so …
Observer: You’re so adorable. What are you…like 10…11 perhaps? Does your mom know you’re using her computer? Whatever your age may be, I’m very proud of you for watching these big people videos. Striving for knowledge is the first step to being smart. Maybe one day you’ll achieve it. Until then, your presumptuous insolence only provides entertainment for the rest of us. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I will indeed go and watch some Comedy Central.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
Please explain to a …
Please explain to a retard such as myself.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
I am assuming you …
I am assuming you are a child or at least behaving like one. So if you have a point then make it otherwise I can’t be bothered.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
That means your …
That means your tiny brain’s engines are turning! That’s a good sign.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
And that is what …
And that is what dopey atheists admire most in life. Useless wit. Stupid graduates of the university of comedy central.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
You’re defending …
You’re defending this? Clearly, you’re not a good judge of intelligence.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
Why are you so dumb?
Why are you so dumb?
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
No, you didn’t …
No, you didn’t understand him because you’re retarded. But it’s gonna be alright.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
You’re an idiot. …
You’re an idiot. But you knew that already.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
If your brain is …
If your brain is incapable of comprehending what he was saying then maybe you shouldn’t be arguing about the universe or origins, ever. Not your forte. Go watch some comedy central.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
That’s because …
That’s because you’re retarded. But don’t panic. Everything is under control.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
LOL, this reminds …
LOL, this reminds me of 4 counselors trying to help the retard. Poor retarded Hitchens.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
He needs no “buddy” …
He needs no “buddy”.
The four of them are struggling to defend his arguments. The only one who came close was WLC, but close is as good as he got.
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 am
I’m a Christian but …
I’m a Christian but…he just seems totally outnumbered. :S is that fair? I know he asked to be here but they could have at least gotten him a buddy, lol.
Ata the same time, though, I don’t think his argument would win anyone. He comes from it at an emotional stance, to me, and that’s not what proves or disproves God.

Isn’t fizzing a physical reaction?
