I Am the Messenger is one of my favorite books. The Book Thief is absolutely amazing, but the two are very different. You just have to take them as separate things.

Hey Rosianna, yeah i`m reading I am the messanger too right now. Its on a borrow status.I actually have not read the book theif for some strange unknown reason.. but i know several people thought it was amazing. I like the book its got an interesting idea so far. Off to add it to goodreads!

I agree… “I Am the Messenger” is WAY different from “The Book Thief”, and I liked Thief better, but Markus Zuzak is just such an excellent writer.
