Hope is also the powerless waiting for that which you cannot control. Like I don’t hope for breakfast in the morning, I get up and make it. But I do hope my plane doesn’t crash. Point being, I like that there’s no hope. It makes people finally do something. I have no hope for humanity, especially industrial civilized humanity.
