Delays in the disbursement of funds from Treasury to purchase books for basic education is posing a serious threat to the publishing industry. WordAlive Publishers Chief Executive David Waweru says the effects of the funds delay are cascading down the entire book publishing chain. Waweru also says copyright infringement continues unabated, occasioning losses worth billions of shillings to the industry annually.
