OK If you’re underweight and want to gain weight, you’re going to want to gain MUSCLE. So you have to take up a weight training routine with HEAVY weight and increase your daily protein, carbohydrate, and whole calorie consumption. What you want to do is weigh yourself and adjust your nutritional intake and you will slowly make healthy progress if you stay disciplined with your weight lifting.

I’m 6′1”, 165, but I used to be around 140/145 for the longest time. How old are you? If you want to gain weight, slack back on activities like running. Eat food like milk, cheese, mini pizza’s, cut cut sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches, take a scoup of protein powder everyday, chocolate milk, cheeseburgers, junk food doesn’t really work for putting on weight for us skinny guys. Try eating foods like this in the evening, have a sandwich or something right before bed.

Hey buddy, when I was 14 years old, I was just turning 100 lbs (44 kg) I was ridiculously skinny too. My advice is to just forget about it for now. The older you get the easier you’ll put on weight. Theres not much you can do about right now.
